March! National Crochet Month

March is the National Crochet Month so... as a committed 'hooker' what am I doing to celebrate?

I plan to crochet for at least 10 minutes each day. I will be working on my current projects which are on stand-by right now as school is kicking my ass. I am left with little time for my crocheting. But not any more!

In addition, there is a Freeform Cal/Game on Ravely which I'm excited for. My last year's creation came out super weird and funky looking. I wonder what the designers have in store for this year. I was recently inspired and continued to freeform crochet on that piece. I plan to turn it into a street (art) yarn installation. I will post pictures once I do that.

Oh! and to keep this blog alive, once a week I will post pictures of my work in progress on the new freeform project.

Ah, I feel inspired already!
 Happy Crocheting!

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls

another great movie with awesome imagery, costumes, and editing. great soundtrack and a twisted killer ending. a cult classic.

"A groovy, sexy, X-rated look at L.A. back when it was cool!" as someone commented.here's a sneak peak:

'money money money, must be funny'

I'm Not There

A few weeks ago I saw I'm Not There. I give it four out of five stars only because it is hard to follow at times, and background information about Bob Dylan's life is a must in order to understand some scenes. But I do think most Dylan fans would appreciate the movie. So if you are one, rent it, check it out- watch it.

Here are a few screenshots and images that I love.

Inspiration.

I have new projects I want to share.  And..
the best Sugar Cookie Recipe. Perfect for Christmas cookies for Santa ;)
